Abstract

The Indonesian government's goal of food resilience is in line with efforts to increase the production of whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) to meet the protein needs of the community. The challenge is the high cost of feed which is a determining factor in productivity. Quality feed at a relatively low cost is the solution. The use of supplements is a way to increase the quality of feed nutrition to stimulate shrimp growth. CV. Anugerah Mina Abadi applies a feed supplement containing the amino acid methionine and organic minerals with the commercial name Aminox Aqua. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Aminox Aqua in stimulating growth. The results of the study showed an average value of very good growth indicators, namely biomass 2,280.94 kg, size 34.9 fish/kg, ADG 0.261 g/fish/day and MBW 28.7 g. The pH and salinity parameters are in accordance with the company's standard values, while the temperature and brightness parameters are in accordance with SNI 01-7246-2006. Supplementation of amino acid methionine and organic minerals has been proven to be effective in increasing feed nutrition and stimulating the growth of whiteleg shrimp. Aminox Aqua can be recommended for use in vaname shrimp ponds, because the application method is very practical, easy to do by pond farmers and the price is relatively cheap
