Sosialisasi Teknologi Bioflok pada Budidaya Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) Di Kolam Beton/Terpal Socialization of Biofloc Technology in Vaname Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) Farming in Concrete Ponds
Main Article Content
Abstract
Vaname shrimp is one of the natural resources in Indonesia that has high economic value as one of the commodities favored in the marine and fisheries sector. Has a production target, which is 29.20% of the total aquaculture production target with an average increase in production of 12.18% per year (KKP., 2016). South Sulawesi is one of the provinces that is the center of Vaname shrimp development in Indonesia. During the period 2016-2021, Vaname shrimp production amounted to 20,652 tons, experiencing fluctuations in production from year to year with a growth of only around 27.40%, when compared to seaweed commodities of 72.60% (KKP. South Sulawesi Province, 2017). The purpose of this activity is to socialize biofloc technology in vaname shrimp farming in concrete/tarpaulin ponds. The method carried out in this activity is face-to-face, through socialization and counseling activities. Based on the evaluation results of socialization/extension activity participants, it shows that most (80%) vaname shrimp farmers have increased knowledge and understanding in the plan to apply biofloc technology in vaname shrimp farming activities in concrete/tarpaulin ponds.
