Abstract

Schools, as formal educational institutions, aim to organize effective and quality learning processes to produce high-achieving students who play an essential role in supporting children's growth and development. However, there are still many students who still need to achieve optimal development. One of the factors that hinders the development of students is the ongoing cases of bullying in schools. The negative impact of bullying cases on school-age children can have long-term consequences. Children who bully tend to repeat the behavior into adulthood. At the same time, victims of bullying will continue to experience long-term impacts such as stress, depression, hatred towards the perpetrator, revenge, desire to leave school, shame, feeling pressured, threatened, and hatred towards their social environment. One of the efforts to prevent bullying in education is through a school socialization program carried out by practitioners with relevant and competent expertise. Socialization was carried out at SD Negeri 52 Kota Prabumulih in grade 5 with 18 students consisting of 8 male students and 10 female students. The level of student understanding of bullying actions was measured through pre-tests and post-tests, where the results showed an increase in the percentage of post-test scores regarding student's knowledge of the material presented about bullying. Socialization has been successfully implemented to prevent bullying in the school environment and can be implemented continuously in all classes.
