Abstract
KUB chicken is one of the names of native chickens as a result of breeding carried out by the Agricultural Research and Development Agency, Ciawi, Bogor. Raising free-range chickens is one of the business units that still holds great potential, it is due to the high market demand and the tendency of the Indonesian people who are indeed fond of eating chicken meat. Handling livestock health is one of the vital activities in the free-range chicken farming business, because livestock productivity is greatly influenced by livestock health. After the regulation banning the use of AGP in feed, farmers have to look for additional feed that can replace the role of AGP. One of the efforts that can be made is to use herbal medicine for chicken livestock. The purpose of this service is to provide information to farmers about the importance of finding alternative alternative feed to AGP for cultivated livestock, as well as to provide training to the community on how to make herbal medicine applications. The solutions offered to overcome this are 1) conducting socialization and counseling related to the procedures for cultivating KUB chickens and making herbal medicine. 2) How to make herbal medicine and its application to livestock. 3) Submission of DOC to partners. 4) Evaluation related to extension activities. Through the administration of herbal herbs, it can improve the performance of KUB chickens.
